In this introductory session, participants learn how to log in and navigate through the system. They learn how to identify the different modules within the Sandata EVV Agency Portal.

This session is intended for existing PCS members seeking to learn how to create a new member and to create authorizations.
The Security section is for administrative staff who create new Sandata EVV users, make updates to Sandata EVV user accounts, and ensure that users are allowed to access the features they need. You can also change your own password in the Security section.
Do you create or manage accounts for people who log into Sandata EVV? This video provides a quick overview of the Security section and how it's used to add, delete and edit users and reset passwords. This video introduces you to the Security tabs of Manage Users, Manage User Roles, and Change Password.
Users are staff members who are authorized to use Sandata EVV. This video will show you how to search for a user, and to see how this tab can be used to create, update and delete accounts for users. Watch this video for an overview of the Manage Users tab.
Do you need to add new users? Use the Create Users screen to do this. Watch this video to learn how to create a new user, and understand the roles (Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, Security Administrator) to which you can assign the user.
Do you have a user who has new responsibilities and needs different access within Sandata EVV? Access is controlled through individual permission (privileges) and roles (collections of privileges), such as Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, and Security Administrator. Watch this video to learn how to modify a user's role, and how to reset their password if needed.
Do you have a user taking an extended leave of absence? Or maybe one of your users has been locked out after trying to log-in too many times. Sandata EVV accounts can be locked to temporarily restrict access (or after too many unsuccessful logins). Watch this video to learn how to manually lock and unlock Sandata EVV accounts.
Did one of your employees leave? Then you need to remove their ability to sign into Sandata EVV. This video shows you how to do that. Watch this video to learn how to delete a Sandata EVV account.
Do you need to change your Sandata EVV password? This video shows you how.
Access to different parts of Sandata EVV is controlled by individual permissions. Your agency can create a user role to set up a particular set of permissions. Some roles are created by Sandata and should not be deleted. If your agency created a User Role, you can delete this user role if it no longer suits your needs. This video explains how to remove a user role your agency created, and why to proceed with caution when removing them.
