Massachusetts Get Ready Checklists
Use the following checklist to start using the Sandata EVV system as part of the Massachusetts EOHHS EVV program. You can also view detailed, step-by-step instructions here.
- Set Up Your User Accounts
Massachusetts uses Single Sign-On for access to the state-sponsored Sandata EVV system or the Sandata Aggregator through the use of an alternate EVV vendor. To obtain Single Sign-On access, providers must complete registration through theSandata Self-Registration Provider Portal and submit a User Request Form with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Once you have your Single Sign-On credentials, you will be able to log in to the Sandata EVV or Sandata Aggregator platforms through the Commonwealth Virtual Gateway.
- Take and Provide Training
Administrators and administrative staff should take all available training for the Sandata EVV and Sandata Aggregator systems for a successful onboarding. Training is available through our online Learning Management System available 24/7 for self-paced training.

Register for the Administrator training (Sandata EVV or Aggregator).

Register for Administrative staff training geared toward specific roles and responsibilities.

Don't forget to provide training for your employees who will be using the Sandata Mobile Connect to capture visit data.

Begin Using the System
Log in using your Single Sign-On credentials through the Commonwealth Virtual Gateway. Ensure that all clients have been added and add employees, remembering to give them Sandata Mobile Connect app access so they can begin capturing visit data.

Verify Data
Log in to Sandata EVV or the Sandata Aggregator regularly to review the visit data captured and manage any visit exceptions you see.

To obtain SSO access, providers must complete registration through the Sandata Self-Registration Provider Portal and submit a User Request Form with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Once you have your SSO credentials, you will be able to log in to the Sandata Aggregator platform through the Commonwealth Virtual Gateway.

Ensure Your Vendor Has Registered and Tested
Let your chosen vendor know that you have registered in the Sandata Self-Registration Provider Portal and ask them to register as an Alternate EVV Vendor. They will need to complete testing using the Alternate EVV Testing Specifications and get production credentials.

Take and Provide Training
Administrators and administrative staff should take the available Sandata Aggregator training for a successful onboarding. Training is available through HHAeXchange University, our online Learning Management System available 24/7 for self-paced training. Administrators should register for Aggregator training.
- Begin Using the System to Verify Data
Log in to the Sandata Aggregator through the Commonwealth Virtual Gateway to regularly review the visit data captured and manage any visit exceptions you see.
