Actual Hours More Than Scheduled Hours Exception

An Actual Hours More Than Scheduled Hours exception applies to visits where the caregiver has gone over the scheduled visit time. If the visit auto-confirm functionality is enabled, visits will still be confirmed, and the exception still displays.

To resolve an Actual Hours More Than Scheduled Hours Exception:

If the employee worked more than the scheduled visit time but the calculated Bill/Pay Hours are correct:

  1. Select the Ovrd (Override) checkbox.

    Select the Ovrd (Override) checkbox.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Select the reason code if applicable.

If the employee worked more than the scheduled visit time but the calculated Bill/Pay Hours are incorrect:

  1. Select the P->A checkbox. Selecting the checkbox changes the bill and pay hours column to match the scheduled hours. This automatically selects the Ovrd (Override) check box.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Select the reason code if applicable. Click Save.

In situations such as the client was using the phone upon the staff member’s arrival or service began immediately:

  1. Select the Ovrd (Override) checkbox.

  2. Double click in the column needing adjustment.

  3. Enter the new amount.
